Local SEO

Local SEO Services for Houston Small Businesses

When someone in Houston searches “realtor near me,” “kitchen remodel Katy,” or “med spa in the Heights,” they pick from the first few names Google shows them. Local SEO is how you become one of those names.

I’m Sahar Golafshan, the owner of Elev8 Images. Houston real estate agents and businesses already know me for photography and video. I’m also a licensed Texas real estate agent, so I know how local clients look for help and what makes them pick up the phone. Now I offer local SEO too: straightforward work that helps the right people find you on Google Search and Google Maps.

You won’t get jargon or long contracts you can’t get out of. You’ll get a clear plan, steady work, and a monthly report you can actually read.

What’s Included

Six things, done properly.

01

Website & Local SEO Audit

I start by checking where you stand today: how your site and Google Business Profile show up for the searches that matter, what’s slowing you down (missing pages, slow load times, broken links, weak titles), and the quickest fixes. You get a plain-English list of priorities, not a 40-page report nobody reads.

02

Google Business Profile Optimization

Your Google Business Profile is often the first thing a Houston client sees, sometimes before your website. I set up or clean up your categories, services, service areas, hours, description, and photos. Then I keep it active with regular posts and help you build a simple routine for asking for and replying to reviews.

03

Keyword & Competitor Research

I find the terms your future clients actually type, like “homes for sale in Cypress,” “Sugar Land realtor,” or “roof repair Pearland.” I also look at who’s ranking in your area right now and why. That shows us where the openings are and which pages to build first.

04

On-Page Content and Neighborhood & Service Pages

I tune your existing pages (titles, headings, meta descriptions, internal links, image alt text) and write new pages aimed at specific Houston neighborhoods and services. For real estate agents, that can mean community guides for the Heights, Memorial, Bellaire, or The Woodlands. For contractors and med spas, it means one clear page for each service you want to be found for.

05

NAP Citations & Local Directories

NAP stands for Name, Address, Phone. When those details match across the web, Google trusts your business more. I fix inconsistent listings and submit you to the directories that matter for your industry, from Yelp and Bing Places to real estate and trade-specific sites.

06

Monthly Reporting

Every month you get a short report: what I worked on, how your Google Business Profile and website are doing, and what’s next. If something isn’t moving, I’ll tell you, and I’ll tell you what I’m changing.

Who It’s For

Houston businesses with local customers.

Real estate agents and teams

Own your farm area on Google and stop depending only on portals and paid leads.

Contractors and home service pros

Roofers, remodelers, HVAC, plumbers and landscapers who need to show up in the Map Pack when a neighbor needs help.

Med spas and wellness studios

Competing for “near me” searches in busy parts of town like River Oaks, Memorial, and the Galleria area.

Restaurants and local shops

Hungry, ready-to-buy customers finding accurate hours, menus and photos.

If you serve customers in Greater Houston and want more of them finding you on Google, this is for you.

Better Together

Bundle SEO with professional photography.

This is where Elev8 Images is different. Most SEO agencies can’t shoot your photos, and most photographers don’t do SEO. I do both.

Good photos matter for local search:

  • Google Business Profiles with fresh, high-quality photos look more trustworthy and give people a reason to click instead of scrolling past.
  • Listings, service pages, and neighborhood guides with real, professional images keep visitors on your site longer than stock photos do.
  • Properly named, compressed, and tagged images help your pages load fast and give Google more context about what you do and where.

When you bundle photography with SEO, I shoot with your Google profile and website in mind, upload and optimize the images for you, and use them across your pages and posts. Current Elev8 Images photography clients get a bundle discount on any SEO package.

Questions

Frequently asked.

How long does local SEO take to work?

SEO builds over time. Some fixes, like cleaning up your Google Business Profile, can have an effect fairly quickly. Content and rankings usually take a few months to build. That's why monthly plans have a 3-month minimum. I can't promise a specific ranking, and you should be careful of anyone who does. What I can promise is consistent, honest work and clear reporting.

What's the difference between local SEO and regular SEO?

Local SEO is about showing up for searches in a specific area, like "Houston Heights realtor" or "plumber near me," including the Google Map Pack. It leans on your Google Business Profile, reviews, local citations, and location-specific pages. Regular SEO is broader and often national.

Do I need a new website?

Usually not. Most sites can be improved as they are. If your site has a problem that will hold back your results, like being very slow or hard to edit, I will flag it in your audit and explain your options.

Are there long-term contracts?

No. Monthly plans have a 3-month minimum so the work has time to make a difference. After that, you're month to month and can cancel with 30 days' notice.

I'm not a real estate agent. Can you still help?

Yes. I'm starting with real estate because I know that world inside and out, but the same approach works for contractors, med spas, restaurants, and other Houston small businesses that serve local customers.
