Airbnb and short-term rental photography

Airbnb Photography in Houston

Short-term rental photography shot for the platforms it lives on, where the first thumbnail decides whether anyone sees the second.

An Airbnb listing is not a real estate listing, and photographing it the same way is a missed opportunity. A buyer is assessing a property. A guest is imagining a stay. One wants to know the condition of the roof; the other wants to know what the coffee corner looks like in the morning and whether the patio is somewhere they would actually sit.

That changes what we shoot. Short-term rental work leans into the details that signal comfort — made beds, a set table, the reading chair by the window, the outdoor space arranged as though someone is about to use it. It also means covering every space a guest will ask about, because an unanswered question becomes a booking that goes elsewhere.

We shoot for hosts across the Greater Houston Area, from single rooms to whole-home rentals, and deliver files sized for Airbnb, VRBO and your own social channels.

What’s included

Short-term rental shoots include:

  • Full coverage of every guest-facing space, including the ones hosts forget
  • Detail frames that carry the feel of the stay, not just the floor plan
  • Outdoor and amenity spaces shot as destinations in their own right
  • HDR processing, colour correction and vertical line straightening
  • Files sized for Airbnb, VRBO and social platforms
  • Delivery the next business day

Who it’s for

Built for

  • Short-term rental hosts — relisting a property or refreshing photos that no longer match the space.
  • New listings — that need a full set before going live, where the photography is the entire first impression.
  • Property managers — running several units who need a consistent look across a portfolio.
  • Hosts competing in a crowded area — where every nearby listing shows the same rooms and the photography is the only real differentiator.

Pricing

What it costs.

Photography starts at $102 for up to 10 photos, with additional images at $6 each. Most whole-home rentals need more coverage than that — the Core Listing package at $325 includes up to 25 edited photos, 3 aerial photos and a 2D floor plan. Virtual staging is available for vacant rooms at $55 per image for the first three.

FAQ

Common questions.

How is Airbnb photography different from real estate photography?

Real estate photography is built to sell a property; short-term rental photography is built to sell a stay. We shoot more detail frames, more of the amenity spaces, and we style for comfort rather than neutrality.

How many photos does an Airbnb listing need?

It depends on the size of the property and how many spaces guests will use. A single room may need 10–15; a whole-home rental with outdoor space usually needs more.

Should the property be staged before the shoot?

Yes, and it makes a significant difference. Beds made, surfaces clear, towels fresh, outdoor furniture set. We photograph the property as we find it — we do not move furniture or clean.

Can you photograph a property that is still being furnished?

We would rather not. Photographs of a half-finished space are hard to use and usually need reshooting. If the furniture is close but not complete, call us and we will talk it through.

Do you shoot video for short-term rentals?

Yes. Social vertical video starts at $195 and performs well on the platforms most hosts use for direct marketing.

What if some rooms are vacant?

Virtual staging is available at $55 per image for the first three and $45 for each additional image. It is ready two business days after photo editing.
