Shoot with Elev8 Images.

We cover the Greater Houston Area for listing photography, aerial and video. We are building a small roster of photographers who can hold the same standard shoot to shoot — so an agent gets the same result whoever turns up at the door.

What the work looks like

Residential listing shoots across the Greater Houston Area — interiors and exteriors, with drone and video on the larger packages. You shoot and send us the RAW files; editing is handled in-house, so you are not colour-grading at midnight to hit a next-day deadline.

You get a shot list and a style guide, so you are never guessing what we want from a property. Scheduling, client communication and delivery stay with us. Your job is to turn up prepared and shoot the house properly.

Work is per shoot, as an independent 1099 contractor. You invoice us for the shoots you complete. We talk through the rate with you before your first booking.

What we are looking for

  • At least one year of experience shooting real estate photography
  • Video experience — a plus, not a requirement
  • A full-frame or mirrorless camera body
  • A wide-angle lens
  • A gimbal and a tripod
  • An FAA Part 107 licence — a plus, not a requirement
  • Reliable transport across the Greater Houston Area
  • A turnaround that supports next-business-day delivery

Photography is the core of the role. Video is a plus — it widens the range of shoots we can send you — but we are not ruling out a strong photographer who does not shoot it.

What we are not asking for

You do not need a studio, a team, or a business of your own. You do not need to edit. You do not need a drone to apply — it widens the shoots we can send you, nothing more. What matters is that the work is consistent and that you are reliable about turnaround.

Is this employment or contract work?

Contract. Photographers on our roster work as independent 1099 contractors and invoice us per shoot.

How does pay work?

Pay is per shoot. The rate depends on the package, the property and the location, and we go through it with you before your first booking rather than publishing a number here.

Do I need my own gear?

Yes. You bring your own camera body, wide-angle lens, gimbal and tripod. We provide the shot list and style guide, and we handle the editing.

Do I need a drone and a Part 107 licence?

Not to apply. An FAA Part 107 licence and a drone widen the range of shoots we can send you, so they count in your favour, but photographers without them are still welcome to apply.

Do I need to edit the photos?

No. Editing is handled in-house so the whole roster delivers to one standard. You shoot and send us the RAW files.

Do I need to shoot video?

No. Photography is the core of the role. If you also shoot video it widens the shoots we can send you and it counts in your favour, but photo-only applications are welcome.
