Elev8 Images ("we," "us," or "our") operates elev8images.com. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it. We keep this deliberately short and plain because you should be able to actually read it.
Information we collect
We only collect information you choose to give us. Specifically:
- Booking requests. When you submit our booking form, we collect your name, email address, phone number, property address, preferred date, selected package, and any notes you add.
- Reviews. When you submit a review, we collect your name, brokerage (optional), star rating, review text, and email address.
- Analytics data. We use Google Analytics, which collects anonymised information about how visitors use the site — pages viewed, time on site, approximate geographic region, device type, and referral source. This data is not linked to your identity.
We do not collect payment information through this website. We do not use tracking cookies beyond Google Analytics.
How we use your information
- To respond to your booking request and schedule your shoot
- To contact you about your project, delivery, or scheduling
- To publish your review on our website, if you submitted one
- To understand how visitors use our site so we can improve it
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone. We do not send marketing emails unless you have specifically asked us to.
Reviews and published content
If you submit a review, we may publish your name, brokerage, star rating, and review text on our website and marketing materials. We will never publish your email address. If you want a published review removed, email us and we will remove it promptly.
Photographs and licensing
Photographs we produce for a client are licensed to that client for one-time use marketing the specific property. We retain copyright and may use images in our portfolio, on social media, and in marketing materials. If you would prefer we not use images from your property, tell us before or after the shoot and we will honour that.
Who we share information with
We share information only with service providers who help us operate the business:
- Netlify — hosts our website and processes form submissions
- Google Analytics — provides anonymised website usage statistics
- Contract photographers and editors — receive only the property address and shoot details needed to complete the work
We may also disclose information if legally required to do so.
Data retention
We keep booking enquiries and client records for as long as needed to service the relationship and meet tax and business record requirements — typically seven years. Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics default settings. Reviews remain published until you ask us to remove them.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to:
- Tell you what personal information we hold about you
- Correct information that is wrong
- Delete your information (subject to our legal record-keeping obligations)
- Remove a published review
- Stop contacting you
Email info@elev8images.com and we will respond within a reasonable time.
Security
Our website is served over HTTPS with a valid TLS certificate. Form submissions are transmitted securely. However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
Our services are directed at businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be noted clearly.
