Why I started Elev8 Images

I work in Houston real estate. I have sat in listing appointments, watched a seller hand over the keys to a house they loved, and then watched that house go up online looking nothing like the place they lived in — dark rooms, crooked verticals, a kitchen shot from the doorway.

Buyers decide in seconds whether to click. A listing with flat photos does not get the showing, and a showing that never happens cannot turn into an offer. I started Elev8 Images to close that gap: photography that sells the listing, not photography that merely documents it.

I shoot it. I edit it.

I am the sole founder, and I personally shoot and edit every listing that goes out under this name. There is no roster of subcontractors to roll the dice on, no handoff to an overseas editing queue. You book Elev8 Images, you get me — and the photos come back the next business day.

That is a deliberate limit on how much work I take. It is also the reason the portfolio looks like one body of work rather than twelve different styles stitched together.

What being an agent changes

I photograph a house the way an agent reads one. I know which rooms sell a floor plan and which ones are filler. I know what the MLS will and will not accept, what a buyer scrolling on a phone actually stops on, and why the third photo matters more than the thirtieth.

It also means I understand your side of the transaction — the listing appointment you are trying to win, the price reduction you are trying to avoid, the seller asking why there are no showings. Fast turnaround is not a feature here; it is the whole point.
